MusicOver the years, Jerry’s mandolin work has been heard with a wide array of national and regional bands. Southern Exposure. Started the band up in 1981 and played our last show for Swallow Hill in 2016. Played a reunion show summer of 2021 and had a blast. Might be a few more of those. What started with Southern Exposure as the official band for The Denver Post Train to Frontier Days in Cheyenne, ended up with Spurs Of The Moment, seen here with Michael Martin Murphey sitting in. The Rocky Mt. Stocking Stuffers - We have been doing this bluegrass/country/folk Christmas show for over two decades and it keeps taking on a life of its own musically. Usually play The Lakewood Cultural Center on the first weekend in December. Here with President Bill Clinton at The Fort in Morrison in the late 90’s for the G8 Summit. What do you talk to the President about? Clinton, being from Arkansas and music saavy, they chatted about legendary Arkansas singer-songwriter Jimmy Driftwood, who wrote “The Battle Of New Orleans” and”Tennessee Stud”. Dan McCrimmon and Jerry picked out “Arkansas Traveller” as they walked in. They liked that! The Mason Williams Band. Played our first orchestral show with The Denver Symphony at Red Rocks in the 70’s. That project went on every so often for 30 years.
